The Maulana's wife
Rafiqun Nisa Begum
(1910-1998)

The eldest son of Syed Rahat Ali, Maulana Aftab-ud-Din Ahmad had five brothers and five sisters. He got married in the year 1929 to his first cousin Rafiqun Nisa Begum and the couple was blessed with five children, Iqbal Ahmad (son), Nasir Ahmad (son), Zafar Ahmad (son), Mubaraka Ahmad (daughter) and Bushra Aftab (daughter). Following are some pictures of his place of birth, childhood and family members.
